• Welcome to FBISD Student Transfer Information Center

The District has made important changes to the student transfer process to better accommodate the needs of students and families.  Beginning on April 2, 2026, students currently on a Special Circumstance Transfer (SCT) will not need to renew their transfers to remain at the transfer campus for the 2026–27 school year.   SCT students may have their transfers revoked for discipline and poor attendance. If your student’s Special Circumstance Transfer is to a school closure campus or you want to request a new transfer for the 2026-27 school year.

Beginning on April 2, 2026, the Employee Student Transfer (EST) application window will open. During this window, students currently on an Employee Student Transfer (EST) will need to renew their transfers for the 2026-27 school year.  Additionally, employees who want to request a new Employee Student Transfer (EST) or grandparents who are FBISD employees and want to request a Grandparent Employee Student Transfer (GET) for the 2026-27 school year may complete a transfer application during this window.
