• Public Education Grant (PEG) Transfers

    Updated May 27, 2026

In 1995, the Texas Legislature created the Public Education Grant (PEG) program.  The PEG program permits a parent whose child attends a campus on the PEG List to request a transfer to another campus within their home district or to a campus in a different district.  A list of PEG-designated campuses is provided to districts annually.  The Texas Education Agency published the PEG Program list, for the 2026-27 school year, on December 9, 2026. The state’s 2026-27 PEG list includes campuses that received an overall scaled score below 60 in 2025.

For the 2026-27 school year, the following campuses have been identified as PEG campuses:

    • Missouri City MS
    • Christa McAuliffe MS
    • Willowridge HS

Students who attend these campuses may request a transfer from the selected campus below or may choose to remain at the zoned campus. PEG transfer students are held to the same attendance and behavior expectations as all transfer students and may have their transfer revoked for not meeting attendance and behavior expectations.
