Elementary Programs

  • FBISD is committed to providing high-quality multilingual education that empowers students to thrive in a global society. At the elementary level, we offer two types of programs designed to meet diverse linguistic and academic needs:

    State-Mandated Programs

    In compliance with state requirements, we provide language support services for Emergent Bilingual students to ensure equitable access to the curriculum. These programs focus on developing English proficiency while valuing and supporting students’ home languages.

    Together, these programs create a strong foundation for academic success and multilingualism, preparing students for future opportunities in an interconnected world.

    Programs of Choice

    Families can select from innovative language programs that promote bilingualism, biliteracy, and global awareness. These include Dual Language Immersion and Mandarin Immersion pathways that give students the opportunity to learn in two languages while mastering grade-level content.
