Welcome to our 3rd Grade Classroom! My name is Adrienne Maksimov and I will be your child's 3rd Grade Reading & Writing teacher this year!  We will be a strong, classroom family of independent, critical thinkers who take risks and learn from each other with a growth mindset.  

My teaching philosophy: Teaching with a culturally responsive lens connects students’ cultures, languages, and life experiences with what they learn in school. These connections help students access rigorous curriculum and develop higher-level academic skills.
