I was born and raised in Hillsboro, Texas.  I attended Baylor University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science and Minor in Studio Art.  I completed my student teaching in Kindergarten, taught 1st, 3rd and 2nd.  I am married with two children and enjoy living in Richmond, Texas.  My desire is to instill a love of reading to help each child I teach become more successful in all they do and dream for their lives.
