Mrs. Erin Maston

My name is Mrs. Maston and I am excited to be teaching 1st grade! This is my 6th year teaching first grade at Pecan Grove. 

I have 22 years of experience in education/childcare. I have taught in both public and private school settings. I have a double major in Elementary and Middle School education. I taught 3rd grade and Pre-K before coming to 1st grade.  

My family has lived in Pecan Grove for over 10 years. I am married and have three children: one at Bowie MS and two at Travis High School.  Outside of school, I enjoy baking, exercising, and watching my kids play soccer.

As a teacher, my goal is to meet the individual needs of my students so that every student can be successful and reach his/her full potential. I have a passion for teaching children to read and love to see their growth throughout the year. I am looking forward to a fun year!
