During the 2024–25 school year, thousands of students earned college credit through advanced coursework—including but not limited to dual credit, University of Texas OnRamps program, and Advanced Placement (AP) courses, demonstrating FBISD’s commitment to rigorous, college-ready learning. In 2025–26, FBISD launched Premier Opportunities, a pilot initiative offering students at 20 elementaries unique, campus-wide enrichment experiences that expand learning beyond the classroom. FBISD also offers world-class fine arts programs—such as theater, orchestra, band, piano technology, and mariachi—providing opportunities unmatched by charter or private schools. Through UIL participation, students develop discipline, teamwork, leadership, and resilience, reinforcing a whole-child approach that prepares them for success in school and beyond.
