ACCOUNTABILITY, ASSESSMENT, & COMPLIANCE

  • The Accountability, Assessment, & Compliance Department will provide leadership for all aspects of the state and federal accountability systems, state and national assessments, and state and federal programs oversight regarding ESSA Title I and Private Non-Profit programs. 


    The Accountability, Assessment, & Compliance Department provides the following supports:

    • Facilitates the dissemination of state and federal accountability reports;
    • Oversees all aspects of the Texas Performance Based Monitoring and Accountability System data and reporting;
    • Oversees training and implementation of state and national assessment programs including, but not limited to, STAAR, TELPAS, EOC, Credit by Exam, and PSAT/SAT;
    • Facilitates interdepartmental planning for summer school programs; and
    • Facilitates compliance related to state and federal programs including ESSA Title I and PNP programs.

  • STAAR-EOC Re-Tests (December 2024) 

    Students who failed STAAR or EOC in the past will be able to retest free of charge. Tests will be administered December 9-12, 2024.  Check back later for further details on scheduling and locations.
