The accountability group will provide leadership to all aspects of the state and federal accountability systems, state and national assessments, and state and federal programs oversight regarding ESSA Title I and Private Non-Profit programs. 

The Accountability, Assessment, & Compliance Department provides the following supports:

• Facilitates the dissemination of state and federal accountability reports;
• Oversees all aspects of the Texas Performance Based Monitoring and Accountability System data and reporting;
• Oversees training and implementation of state and national assessment programs including but not limited to STAAR, TELPAS, EOC, Credit by Exam, and PSAT/SAT; and

Facilities compliance related to state and federal programs including ESSA Title I and PNP programs.
