My name is Kim Brown, and I am excited to be teaching fourth grade at Jan Schiff Elementary. I have been teaching for over twenty years.  I am a native Houstonian and grew up in the Missouri City area, attending Fort Bend schools.  I am a graduate of the University of Houston, Go Cougars!    My husband, Kelly, and I have three beautiful children, Bailey, Julian, and Alex. We have been living in Sienna since 2012 and think it is a great place to live.  When I am not at school, teaching my students, I spend a lot of time at the baseball fields.  My son plays on the Sienna Knights, which keeps us busy traveling to tournaments on the weekends. When I have a free weekend away from sports, I enjoy reading, spending time with friends, and traveling.  I believe that all children can learn and that education is best supported by a partnership between a child’s teacher and parents. I look forward to developing that partnership this school year. I feel very lucky to work at an amazing school with wonderful parents and students!
