Hello! My name is Jaylyn Sampson, and I am so excited to be your child's 4th grade reading teacher this year.

A little about me- I grew up in the area, and it means so much to be back and serving the community that helped shape who I am today. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University (Go Lumberjacks!).  I love helping students grow as readers and watching their conference soar throughout the year. 

When I am not in the classroom, you can usually find me with a good book, out on a run, or doing yoga. I'm also a proud mom to a fun and energetic 5-year-old son, who will be joining the Schiff community this year too!

I am looking forward to a fantastic year full of learning, laughter,  and great books. Let's make it the best one yet! 

My conference time is  from 9:45 - 10:30 am
