Mr. Christopher Tanguay

      This is my tenth year in Fort Bend ISD and my sixth at Ridge Point. Before coming to Fort Bend, I taught French at Southwestern University and Rice University as well as at the Houston Grand Opera. I have also instructed in English at the Université de Rennes 2 in Rennes, France. I eventually decided that instruction at the university level was not for me and that my talents and energy would be better spent teaching French at the secondary level. I'm extremely excited to be at Ridge Point and to get to teach the French language and cultures to new and returning Panthers!

     When I am not working hard for my students, I love spending time with my wife and my two sons (one of whom is a junior here at RPHS, and the other in third grade in Fort Bend ISD), competing in armored combat, reading, cycling, playing guitar and video games, and working on translating novels and comic books from French to English.

    Tutorials will be held from 2:50 p.m. to 3:50 p.m. on Wednesdays, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:20 a.m. on Thursdays, and by appointment.
