Hello!

My name is Catherine Perinjelil (Ms. P.), and I’ve been teaching at Ridge Point High School since 2024. Before that, I taught chemistry for three years at William B. Travis High School and completed my student teaching at Hightower High School (so you could say I’ve been around The Bend). I graduated from the University of Houston with a B.S. in Biology, a minor in Chemistry, and a science teaching certificate.

Outside the classroom, I recharge by spending time with friends and family. My hobbies include being an obnoxious foodie (the one that posts every cheese-pull on social media), church, and solving most of the New York Times' word games. I also shamelessly enjoy horror movies, rom-coms, and anime. 

Above all, I am passionate about what I do and hope to make a meaningful difference in the lives of everyone that I am blessed to encounter. I cannot wait to meet all my students and look forward to all the learning and growth we will share for the new school year! :)
