A University of Houston graduate, I've been a teacher for 24 years and continue to be a life-long learner.  I have 7 certifications & have taught different levels and subjects over my career, but my absolute favorite is teaching High School Art.  I love helping students see their full potential and making a positive difference in their lives. Art is my release and "happy place" & I feel blessed to be able to do what makes me happiest every day.  Another source of joy in my life is my husband of 30 years & our 4 wonderful boys. Three are in college or graduated & working. My youngest is 8 years old. I also own and operate my own private art studio where I teach classes to kids and adults as well as create art for clients on commission. Family, Art, teaching & traveling have always been my pride and most treasured parts of my life.
