Hi there and welcome! I am so excited to be a part of the Viking family! Let me tell you a little about myself. I began teaching in 1990. :) Time sure flies when you are having fun. I obtained my teaching degrees from the University of Houston. Go Coogs! 

     During my years of teaching, I have taught all grades from elementary to middle school. I realized that I love teaching middle school and Language Arts. Teaching ELAR is a true passion of mine. I feel lucky that I get to teach what I love to do. As a teacher, I truly believe that every child is capable of learning. You just have to find the way the child can learn and the correct learning style. As a teacher, I do have high expectations for each and every student, and they need to be challenged in life.  

     Finally, I am the proud parent of an amazing young lady that keeps me on my toes. She is very active, and we don’t have a dull moment in our lives. She is a proud Aggie.  I also have an extremely spoiled Yorkie that makes our lives enjoyable. He is the king of my house, and he does believe that the world revolves around him.
