Hey Viking Family!

My name is Ms. Emily Blanco, and I’m so excited to be your teacher this year!

I have been working at DMS since 2021 and I am currently the AVID Coordinator on campus, and teach 6th and 8th grade.

Being a first generation college graduate, I know firsthand the power of education to open doors and change lives. I earned my Bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University and my Master's degree from Gand Canyon University. I’m deeply passionate about helping students develop strong academic habits, grow their confidence, and prepare for college and career success.

I believe every student has the potential to achieve great things, and I look forward to supporting you as you work toward your goals and strive to live above the line!
