I am honored to begin my 35th year in the teaching profession and my 20th year teaching at Fort Bend Independent School District.  This school year will be my seventh year teaching ELA at Dulles Middle School.   I am married to my husband, Ret.Col. Ronald Bacon for 34 years and we have two grown children who currently serve our country in the military.  I also have one daughter-in-love who also serves in the army. I have one grandchild. I was born and raised in Pine Bluff, Arkansas.  I graduated from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff in1984.  During my tenure as a teacher, I was nominated campus "Teacher of the Year" at I. A. Lewis Middle School in Ruston, Louisiana, for the 2003-2004 school year and again at Glover Elementary here in Houston for the 2010-2011 school year. 

In my spare time, I love to line dance with different groups in the Houston area.  I like to laugh, read, travel and spend time with my family.
