Hello,

Glad to be here at QVMS! I am entering my 23rd year in education. I am from Port Isabel, Tx and graduated from Port Isabel High School in 1994. I attended the University of Texas at Brownsville where I earned a Bachelors in Kinesiology.  I am married with 2 children, daughter 22 attending Texas Womens University Grad School and son18 attending Central Baptist College on a baseball scholarship.

 I began my Teaching/Coaching career back home in special education as a SAILS teacher. After a promotion in coaching, I moved to Santa Rosa Middle School for one year teaching ELA resource class, then received another coaching promotion at Weslaco High School. I was there for 10 years as a Special Education Teacher teaching ELA resource and PE. Moved to San Antonio in 2017-2025 and worked for Northside ISD at Harlan High School BSS. 

2025-2026, I am excited to start a new chapter here at Quail Valley Middle School teaching BSS and can't wait to meet my students and work with them throughout this school year.
