Schoology course

Welcome to ELA/ESL class this year! This year we will work on developing your student's English proficiency in reading, writing, listening and speaking, as well as on the grade level state TEKS English/ESL standards.

This is my 17th year in education working with students at the middle school level/secondary level. I have taught Writing, English as a Second Language (ESL), English Language Arts (ELA), Math and Science in the Dallas and Houston areas.  I've also served as an ESL & ELA Reading Instructional Coach for several years in Bryan/College Station, as well as leading the district's Scholastic Reading Intervention Program.

I've lived in the Missouri City area for several years. I have three sons; two are Ridge Point HS graduates; the youngest is a 9th grader there.
