As we prepare to embark on an exciting new school year at Quail Valley Middle School, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself and share my enthusiasm for the upcoming year.

My name is Ms. S. Williams, and I am thrilled to be your child’s teacher this year. I have several years of experience in education and I am passionate about fostering a positive and engaging learning environment where every student can thrive.

I graduated from Sam Houston State University: BA English  and Concordia University: M. Ed. Advance Literacy Instruction          

I am thrilled to be teaching AVID this year! AVID is designed to empower students with the skills and strategies they need to succeed in college and beyond. This class focuses on critical thinking, organization, collaboration, and effective communication — all essential tools for academic and personal growth. I am excited to guide students on this journey, helping them build confidence, develop lifelong learning habits, and unlock their full potential. Together, we will create a supportive and motivating environment where every student can thrive and achieve their goals.

This year, we will focus on oral communication and various skills to help develop the whole child.  I believe that every child has unique strengths and abilities, and I am committed to helping each student reach their full potential.
