To enroll in the Pre-K3 Head Start program for the 2026–27 school year, the age requirement is 3 years old by September 1, 2026.
Pre-K seats are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis after all documents are submitted and reviewed, and program qualification is confirmed. To secure enrollment, families must receive written confirmation from the school's ADA.
Fort Bend ISD, in collaboration with BakerRipley, offers the Pre-K3 Head Start Full-Day Program at Aldridge, E. A. Jones, Hunters Glen ELC, Holley, Meadows, Oyster Creek, and Ridgemont ELC.
This program is only available for children zoned at these campuses: Aldridge, Barbara Jordan, Dr. Lynn Armstrong, E. A. Jones, Ferndell Henry, Heritage Rose, Hunters Glen ELC, James Patterson, Juan Seguin, Lantern Lane, Lulu Belle Goodman, Mary Austin Holley, Meadows, Mission West, Oyster Creek, Palmer, Ridgegate, Ridgemont ELC, Rosa Parks, Townewest, and Walter Moses Burton.

Fort Bend ISD Pre-K3 Head Start Eligibility Requirements
- Child must be three years old on or before September 1, 2026.
- Family must live within Fort Bend ISD.
- Family must meet the annual income requirements outlined in the table below.
- Children who are SNAP or TANF recipients, homeless, or- have current or previous conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services also qualify for the program.
- List of required documents.

FBISD staff members who live outside the district and qualify for Head Start in their home-zoned district may request a transfer to our school’s program by emailing our department at PreKProgram@fortbendisd.com.
