Hello! My name is Emily Douglas, and I’m excited to be teaching 8th grade Math and Algebra here at Baines Middle School. I'm a proud product of Fort Bend ISD, having grown up in the district and graduated from Dulles High School. I went on to earn my undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University, and recently completed my master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Texas at Arlington.

Over the past nine years, I’ve had the opportunity to teach in Dallas, Austin, and now back home in FBISD. I’m passionate about helping students build confidence in math and discover the joy of learning. I’m looking forward to a great year together!
