Welcome to the New School Year!

Dear Families,

I am delighted to welcome you to a new school year! Whether you are returning or joining us for the first time, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with you and your child. My name is Martha Fields, and I am honored to serve as your child’s AVID teacher.

This year is especially meaningful to me, as I recently graduated with a Master’s degree in School Counseling. With over 24 years of experience in education, I have held roles including Executive Divisional Director, Department Director, South Texas Regional Administrator, Instructional Administrator, Principal, Assistant Principal, and College Professor. Each role has deepened my passion for student achievement and whole-child development.

As a servant leader, I remain committed to creating a safe, supportive, and empowering learning environment. I believe in every student's potential and feel incredibly fortunate to witness the growth and confidence that unfolds as they discover their strengths and pursue their goals.
