6th Grade Math Teacher – Baines Middle School

Welcome! My name is Quanita Moore, and I am proud to serve as a 6th-grade math teacher at Baines Middle School. Teaching is truly my passion and life’s calling—I’ve dreamed of becoming an educator since second grade.

I believe that all students are capable of learning, growing, and achieving success. In my classroom, I focus on building a strong foundation in math while also instilling the values of class, character, and excellence. These guiding principles shape everything we do—from how we treat one another to how we approach challenges and celebrate progress.

Through positive reinforcement, high expectations, and meaningful relationships, I help students develop into confident, responsible, and independent learners who are well-prepared for future success, both in and out of the classroom.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas and my Master’s degree from the University of St. Thomas.

Outside the classroom, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, reading, cooking, traveling, and online shopping.

I am excited to partner with students and families to make this a successful and memorable school year—one filled with growth, problem-solving, and a commitment to class, character, and excellence.
