It is an honor to be teaching at Sienna Crossing Elementary School! This is my twentieth year as an educator at Sienna Crossing Elementary.  This is my fifteenth teaching first grade.  I have also taught third grade for two years and fourth grade for three years.  I was born in San Antonio, Texas and then moved to Austin, Texas when I was eleven years old.  I graduated from The University of Texas with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing.  After college, I was employed by United Healthcare as a Senior Account Manager and I worked there for ten years.  I took some education classes in college and pursued my dream of becoming an educator.  I later obtained my Educator’s Certification.  I have three sons named Joshua, Jacob and John. I have two daughters-in-law named Kristie and Sophie.  I also have two granddaughters named Josie and Jordy.   I have two grandsons named Beckett and Hudson. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, cooking, reading, bike riding, traveling and yoga.  

It is a pleasure watching my students grow as readers, writers and mathematicians.
