Miss Yahaira Luna
Hello! My name is Miss Luna, I will be joining the Lantern Lane family this upcoming year as a first grade teacher! I’m super excited to join the team and learn the yellow jacket way. I graduated from the University of Houston College of Education in 2021 and bring over 10+ years of experience in working with children.
In my classroom, I aim to create a classroom culture that helps nurture students’ growth academically, emotionally, and socially. I believe that all students have the potential to grow in unimaginable ways and just need the tools and techniques to get there.
Outside of school, I love spending time with my family and friends. I love traveling, national parks, hiking, reading, and swimming. I’m super excited to get this year started, let’s make it a great one!
