Emmanuel Kyei

Greetings! My name is Emmanuel Kyei. I am one of the many case managers/advocators here at Clements working to meet the needs of our student Rangers, protected under the federal law IDEA, ensuring students are working towards striving for their maximum potential. In addition, I am the CLaSS+ Science and Math Teacher here at Clements and a resource for our amazing GenEd teachers as their Inclusion teacher and/or in my capacity as a case manager. As an undergraduate, I was honored to be recognized by one of my freshman professors to become the first, but not the last, of many undergraduate lab instructors to follow behind me, opening my path into education. This year will mark my third academic year as a high school teacher. I am honored not just as a Fortbend ISD graduate, but also at this moment, for the opportunity to uphold the motto of my alma mater and measure my life by its service to Clements High School and the Fortbend community. I look forward to working with all stakeholders as we collaborate, communicate, create, and critically think about how to best impact and promote student life-long success. As a biologist, I believe it's imperative to understand the concept of interdependence and ultimately see that the choices we make and the choices of those around us are impactful and to strive for good outcomes through authentic positive interactions with those we encounter, whether in this regard they were instructed by myself at the college level or high school level. My life's calling has always been to grow people to be the best versions of themselves while striving for the best outcome they can achieve. Ultimately, it is an imperative that we understand that learning is a two-way street. My students learn as much from me as I do them and I grow as they do. By learning from them, I continue to grow and so forth my students' success has been the ultimate outcome of their daily growth, which will lead them towards their unique future aspirations. I look forward to a growing year!
