I graduated from North Dakota State University with a B.S. in physics and mathematics and an M.S. in physics. I taught introductory physics labs while working toward my degrees, and I really enjoy explaining physics in simple terms to students and helping them learn just how fascinating the subject is. I have conducted computational research in soft matter physics, geophysics, and astrophysics, and have used many concepts that are taught in the introductory courses in my research. And, in the summer of 2025, I was fortunate to attend CERN's International High School Teacher Programme, which further amplified my love for physics and gave me a lot of great resources to incorporate in the classroom. I teach AP Physics 1, AP Physics C (both Mechanics and Electricity and Magnetism), and Modern Physics (when offered). My goal is to help students enjoy learning about physics and to help them learn the skills necessary to succeed in whichever career path they choose.
