Hello! My name is Anna Diaz, and I am born and raised here in Houston, TX. I grew up in Missouri City and am also an FBISD graduate. I went to E.A. Jones Elementary, Missouri City Middle School and graduated from Thurgood Marshall High School. This year I am going to be your students' 5th grade ELA and Social Studies teacher. 

I am the oldest of 3 siblings (5 years apart), therefore I grew up tutoring and helping my brothers with their school work. Once I got to high school, I joined my schools PALS program, which would take us to elementary schools to mentor students. Both of these things are some of the main reasons why I decided to pursue my career in education. I believe children are the most innocent and valuable beings to exist and my biggest hope is that I can leave a positive impact on every student I get the pleasure of crossing paths with.
