Hey y’all! I’m Amber Lozano (formerly Crenshaw) — newly married as of March 2025 to the love of my life! 💍 We just bought our first home together and are living our best little family life with our two fur babies, Beans 🐶 and Lulu 🐾.

I graduated from SFA in 2020 with my degree in Special Education (Axe ‘Em Jacks!) Since then, I’ve been living out my dream of teaching students with severe and profound disabilities. This school year marks my 6th year in SPED, and let me tell you, my heart is so full. 💖

I spent 4 years teaching ECSE and Life Skills in Cy-Fair ISD, and now I’m heading into my second year at Malala, teaching SAILS nursing. I proudly serve as the SPED team lead for our specialized programs here at Malala, and I absolutely adore both my students and supporting our amazing SPED staff. (Seriously, best team ever! 🙌)

On top of all that, I’m also one of the cheer sponsors for the fabulous "Leaping Leopards" 🐆📣  go team! When I’m not in teacher mode, you can catch me in my garden, cooking up something tasty, or hosting themed parties with my husband (yes, I love a good charcuterie board and a matching tablescape 😄).
