Greetings Oyster Creek school community. I am Mr. Holst and I am 
glad to be here with the kids and families of Oyster Creek Elementary.
school. I hold a bachelor’s degree in music education and a master’s 
In Science for Educational Management. I have been teaching in 
Texas public schools for thirty-three years and have enjoyed many 
great moments in education throughout my career.

   My philosophy is geared to educating the whole child in music. 
Performance, content rigor, and music literacy. My degree emphasis is voice
and I have performed professionally with the Houston Grand Opera as 
a chorus tenor.

   My goal is to provide superb performance opportunities and 
Musical literacy for all learners. I aim to provide the best customer 
Service to each community member within the district and all
Stakeholders at Oyster Creek Elementary. Please feel free to
