My name is Alyssa Taylor, and I am a second grade English Language Arts and Social Studies teacher. I am a proud graduate of Northwestern State University of Louisiana. I started my education journey as a lead teacher for Primrose. I was able to enjoy teaching Pre-K and preschool during my time there. Upon entering FBISD, I became a first grade teacher and also a cheer coach. I taught First for four years before leveling up to teach Third grade. I was honored to be the 2023-2024 Teacher of the for Holley Elementary.  After teaching Third grade for 3 years, I am now moving to Second grade. This is my first year as an OCE Blue Jay, and I am ecstatic about all the fun we are going to have this year and how much the students are going to grow. I am also very excited to be able to bring my experience and knowledge of cheer and dance to help build our new cheer squad.
