Mrs. Sarah Erschabek
My name is Sarah Erschabek and I am in my twenty-fourth year of teaching! I currently teach 5th grade ELA/SS, but have taught 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades as well. All twenty-four years have been at Austin Parkway Elementary. My husband and I have been married for 21 years and we have three wonderful children. Kailey is 20 and graduated from Elkins High School in 2023 and is currently pursuing her Occupational Therapy Assistant certification. Tristan is 17 and a senior at Elkins High School, and Avaley is 14 and a freshman at Elkins High School. I love finding ways to utilize technology and creative strategies to help students and teachers learn and accomplish even more than they ever thought they could. I am extremely active in Girl Scouts and am part-time staff at my church teaching kindergarten. My family loves to read, travel, and camp. We even enjoy spending time in the kitchen together. I love taking fifth graders to Washington D.C. or Boston each year (except for Covid years). I adore my job and my students! I can’t wait to see how much we can accomplish together.
