Mrs. Courtney De Los Santos

 

Hi parents!  My name is Courtney De Los Santos (Mrs. D), and this is my 21st year at Austin Parkway Elementary.  After graduating with a degree in Early Childhood Education from Texas ATM, I began my teaching career as a 2nd grade teacher in Spring Branch ISD, and then moved to Fort Bend ISD 2 years later.  Since arriving at Austin Parkway, I have taught 3rd, 5th, Kinder, ESL, PE, 1st grade, and now Pre-K!  This is the only school I've taught at in FBISD, and after all these years, it feels like a home away from home!  I truly love my sweet little students, and my greatest hope is that my love of teaching will translate into my students’ love of learning!  I am the proud mom of 2 sweet boys.  Brooks is in 12th grade this year in LCISD at George Ranch HS and Ryan will be joining his big brother this year as a 9th grader.  Both boys had the privilege of attending APE, and both thought it was the best school in the world, and I have to agree with them!  When I'm not teaching, I love cheering our boys on at their football and baseball games, going out to eat with friends, snuggling our 2 sweet chihuahuas (Hank and Meatball), reading and working out.
