Hello! My name is Yun Chen, and I am thrilled to be the ECSE Inclusion Teacher at APE. This is my second year at APE, and I’m grateful to be part of such a supportive and collaborative team.

I began my career in marketing, working in both the U.S. and China for many years. After becoming a parent, I developed a strong interest in child development and early childhood education, which led me to transition into teaching. I worked in HISD for two years before joining Fort Bend ISD in 2024.

I’m passionate about creating a nurturing, inclusive classroom where every child is supported and celebrated. I work closely with two amazing Pre-K teachers and dedicated paraprofessionals to provide a strong, collaborative ECSE inclusion program here at APE.

I live in Sugar Land with my husband and our two young children, who also attend FBISD schools. In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, shopping, and exploring different cuisines from around the world.

I believe every child is unique and full of potential. With the right support and opportunities, they can accomplish incredible things. I’m excited to begin this journey with you and your children.
