Welcome to second grade! My name is Beth Snyder and this is my 33rd year in education. I am very excited about this year! I feel so fortunate that I get to spend my day learning, reading, and writing with my students.

My husband, Steve, and I have been married for 35 years. We have three children. Katie (an environmental engineer living in Austin with her husband Andreas), Stricklin (an environmental engineer living in Dallas), and Grace (a physical therapy doctoral student at UNT Health Sciences Center living in Fort Worth with her husband Will). We also have a precious dog named Lily and four grand dogs named Rosie, Luna, Athena, and Sunday.

We are excited about this upcoming year because we will be celebrating Stricklin's marriage to his fiance Amanda. We will also be welcoming our first grandchild to our family! We are so excited for Katie and Andreas!

When I am not at school, you can find me at home spending time with my family and friends. I also love going to the theater, reading a good book, going to the beach, hiking, or exploring new places.
