• The community is invited to attend the FBISD Board of Trustees Listening Tour. 

    This event will provide the community with an opportunity to engage with board members and district leaders at roundtable discussions.

    Roundtable Topics

    • Safety and Security
    • Financial Outlook: Budget, Salaries, Benefits
    • Bond 2023 and Facilities Updates
    • Special Programs and Student Services: SpEd, GT, Academies, Pre-K

    Speaker Sign-Up Process 

    • Enter through the front doors of the campus.
    • Look for signage marked “Listening Tour Guests Check In”
    • At the check-in table, all guests will sign in.
    • Those wishing to ask a question during the Listening Tour will fill out an online form to submit a question.

    Additional Details

    • The listening tour begins at 5 p.m., and Board President Tassin will give instructions.
    • All questions for discussion must be turned in by 4:45 p.m. Questions may only be submitted in person.
    • Questions will be addressed on a first-come, first-served basis. The questions will be answered in the order they were received and based on the time allotted for questions. Some questions may be grouped to allow for more responses in the allotted time. Guests whose questions were unanswered due to time restrictions will receive a response by email from the respective department.

    Student entertainment and artwork will be showcased, and light refreshments will be served.
