FSMS Suggested Microphones
You may feel like sound quality has been an issue for you in your recordings. You may be considering an audition or just your orchestra assignments and desiring possibly clearer feedback. If this is you, we have compiled a list of microphones below that we have vetted to be sure that:
- Their recording range will go low enough to clearly pick up a bass and high enough to get a violin in the upper positions.
- They do not use compression algorithms, so they will pick up and record a truer version of the sound you are producing.
