2025 Summer Camps
Signing up your student to participate in a summer camp is an excellent way to help your student continue their musical growth. It keeps students learning and engaged over the summer, and it can help ensure that their instrument skills are being maintained. Take a look at the dates and descriptions and find which one may be right for you. If you have any questions, please ask your directors.
Students headed to high school seeking help with Region or All-State are highly encouraged to attend a camp to help better prepare for the audition.

Echo Orchestra Camp
This will be a fun and exciting way for string students in grades 6-8 to hone their skills and enrich and deepen their love of music. The camp will culminate in a gala concert on the final evening at Lanier where students can showcase all they have learned during the week. At least one year or previous instruction is required. Don’t be left out. Come join the fun!
**5th Graders with 1+ years of playing experience may enroll in this camp. If you are unsure if your 5th grader/ rising 6th grader is eligible please email us info@ECHOrchestra.org

New Heart MAC Camp
Music And Collab Summer Camp is a music camp designed to help piano and string students from 5th-9th grade develop collaborative skills in an intensive and fun learning environment. Participants will play in a variety of ensembles and receive training to develop essential musical skills such as performance and rhythmic technique, sight-reading, and teamwork.

FBISD Summer Camp
Week-long camp for all current FBISD students enrolled in orchestra. Open to all students that have completed one year of orchestra.

Multiple Dates, Focuses, and Levels held at HSPVA (Downtown Houston)
HS and MS Orchestra, Chamber Music, and CompositionA great summer string orchestra camp here in Houston. There are several sessions and a HS program for those of our graduating 8th graders performing at that level.

Baylor University Summer Music Camp MS
Overnight music camp for middle school students.

Overnight camp for beginning and intermediate bass players.
