Welcome to 1^st Grade, Tigers! I am Mrs. Aparna Jayender (you can call me Mrs. Jay), and I’m so excited to be teaching Grade 1 Math and Science at CME. I have two master’s degrees, one in Business and another in Human Resources. Prior to CME, I was an Instructional Para at Brazos Bend Elementary School.

I’ve been a Sugar Land resident since 2011 and live with my husband and my son, who’s a junior at Clements HS. My older daughter is a sophomore at UT Austin. For fun, I love cooking, painting, blogging, and playing board games with my family.

I’m so thrilled to have your child as my student and I look forward to a wonderful year!
