Welcome Tigers! My name is Andrea Barrett, and I am so excited to be joining the CME family this year as the new Reading and Social Studies teacher! I am beginning my 13th year in education and have taught Kinder, 2nd, and 4th grades, in addition to being an Instructional Coach for Lamar for 4 years. Teaching is my passion and I am thrilled to be back in the classroom! I am a proud Fort Bend ISD graduate from Elkin High School in 2007. I received my Bachelors degree from Corpus Christi A&M and moved back to the area in 2021. My favorite pastimes are hanging out with my 2 beautiful children by the pool and binging Netflix after the kids' bedtimes.
