​Individuality is beautiful.  Through art, I hope to teach acceptance and respect for what is different or unknown.   This is my 13th year teaching and my experience is in the following subject areas:  

• Art for eight years  
• 2nd grade for three years  
• P.E. for one year

My classroom is structured, but fun.  I believe every child can be successful with the right strategies.  Teaching involves teamwork and patience.  Parents, students, and I are one team.  We are working towards the same goal:  nurturing a child to be his/her absolute best! 

I graduated from Fort Bend ISD's Dulles High School.  I attended University of Houston for undergrad and earned a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Houston Christian University (formerly known as Houston Baptist University).
