Hello! My name is Samantha Warner and I am thrilled to be teaching ELA and Social Studies at ASE. I graduated from the University of Houston in 2008 with my Bachelor's of Liberal Arts in Literature. My plans of being a high school English teacher changed after my kids were born; I spent the next 14 years teaching preschool and loving every second of it! Watching my own kids learn online during the pandemic inspired me to return to school, and in 2023 I graduated from the University of Southern California with a Master of Arts in Teaching. I spent my time at USC learning about GT education from Dr. Sandra Kaplan, the creator of the Depth and Complexity framework, before completing my student teaching experience right here, at ASE. 

Teaching is my passion and I truly love sharing the learning experience with the kids in my classes. When I'm not at school I enjoy spending time with my husband and our 3 big kids. I love everything Marvel and my favorite way to spend my free time is curled up with a good book and my two adorable cats.
