Greetings families and students!

I am Sunny Astorga.  I am the math specialist for Anne Sullivan Elementary. As a math specialist, I help support both teachers and students with the elementary math curriculum. I am starting my sixth year in FBISD, but come with many years of experience in public education in a variety of roles. My heart will always remain in the classroom. I absolutely love to teach! 

As a math specialist, I will focus on providing pull-out or push-in math instruction for a small group of targeted students. I look forward to working closely with students, teachers and families to build a strong math foundation. 

When I am not teaching, I spend time with my own children and husband.  I have 2 boys, who are also enrolled in FBISD. I love to go to the beach, watch my boys play all the sports. We are definitely a baseball family. I'm usually at a field somewhere on the weekends :)

Together we will have an amazing 25 - 26 school year.
