Mr. Daniel Hernandez
Welcome to Ridgemont Early Learning Center!
Hello, families! My name is Coach Hernandez, and I am thrilled to be your Physical Education teacher at Ridgemont ELC. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Texas A&M International University in Laredo, TX. This is my fifth year in education and my third year proudly serving in Fort Bend ISD.
Physical Education is so much more than just playing games—it’s about building confidence, developing teamwork skills, and forming healthy habits that last a lifetime. I chose this path because I’ve always had a deep love for sports and fitness, and I’m passionate about helping young learners grow physically, socially, and emotionally through movement and play.
Here at Ridgemont, my goal is to create a safe, supportive, and energetic environment where all students feel encouraged to try new things, take healthy risks, and have fun while learning. Whether we’re working on basic motor skills, playing cooperative games, or learning how to make healthy choices, I strive to ensure that every scholar walks away with a smile—and maybe a little sweat too!
Outside of school, I enjoy staying active by playing soccer and football, lifting weights, and spending quality time with my family. I also love cheering on my favorite teams and finding new ways to stay engaged in the world of fitness and wellness.
I’m truly excited to be part of the Ridgemont ELC community and look forward to a fantastic year full of movement, growth, and fun. Let’s make it our best year yet!
