Mrs. Alexia Alexopoulos, Assistant Principal

Alexia Alexopoulos is in her 27th year as an educator and her 25th year in the Fort Bend Independent School District.  She earned her bachelor’s degree by double-majoring in Speech Sciences and English from the University of Colorado, Boulder, and attained her teaching certification from Metropolitan University of Denver.  After teaching for many years, she earned her master’s degree in educational administration from University of Houston. 

She has worked at Ridge Point High School for four years as an assistant principal. Prior to coming to Ridge Point, Mrs. Alexopoulos worked at Elkins High School as an English and AVID teacher, serving as the English department head, ESL coordinator, and AVID coordinator.  She then served as an assistant principal at Dulles Middle School for six years. 

With any free-time she has, Mrs. Alexopoulos spends time she has with her husband and 22 year-old triplets, which is time she treasures.  One of them is a nursing major at Baylor University, one is an accounting major at Baylor University, and one is an engineering major at University of Denver.
