Principal Dr. Danielle Jackson

Dr. Danielle Olivier Jackson is proud to serve as the campus principal of Ridge Point High School. Prior to becoming an administrator, Dr. Jackson was an English teacher, department chair, content specialist, and instructional coach.   Dr. Jackson received her Bachelor's degree in political science and Master's degree in English from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. Go Big Red!  She received her PhD in curriculum & instruction from Oklahoma State University. Go Pokes!
In 2019, Dr. Jackson was named assistant principal of the year for Region IV. In 2020, she was named the TASSP assistant principal of the year for the state of Texas.  She has served as the region 4B representative, assistant regional coordinator, and regional coordinator for the Houston area. Dr. Jackson currently serves as the state coordinator for TASSP.
In 2022, Dr. Jackson received the outstanding alumni award from Oklahoma State University. She is a member of Harvard’s women in leadership cohort. She was also featured on the principals of success podcast which features female leaders in education: https://lnns.co/UT2DEda4pOt
In 2023, Dr.  Jackson was recognized by the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals (TASSP) with the Diversity Leadership Award. This award is given to a campus leader who embraces diversity and drives diversity education amongst the students, parents and community at large in the state of Texas.
In 2024, the FBISD Athletics Department named Dr. Jackson the high school principal of the year at the FAB awards. In 2025 the journal, Texas Study, published her article, “The Power of Pick One” which chronicled the impact of the her pick one program over multiple year and three different campuses.
Prior to coming to RPHS HS, Dr. Jackson served as the campus principal at Kempner HS, the associate principal at Marshall HS, and an assistant principal at Ridge Point HS.
Dr. Jackson believes in the power of education and the opportunities education can provide students.
