    Hello!

    My name is Jennifer Scholl, and I am thrilled to be your school counselor! I have 14 years of teaching experience in Alief ISD and have spent the past nine years in Fort Bend ISD. Working with children and families has always been my passion, and I am here to support you in any way I can.

    You may be wondering, "What does a school counselor do?"

    As a school counselor, I:

    • Provide classroom guidance lessons
    • Help students develop social and emotional skills
    • Support academic and personal growth
    • Consult with parents, teachers, admin, and our social worker
    • Work to ensure student success

    A Professional School Counselor is available at Brazos Bend Elementary to provide a Comprehensive Developmental Guidance Program and service for all students in the areas of:

    • Guidance Curriculum - In an effort to help students develop competence in essential life skills
    • Responsive Services -  Provide intrvention for immediate personal/social/emotional concerns
    • Individual Planning - Provide guidance to help students plan, monitor, and manage their persoanl, educational and career goals, and facilitate transition activities for post-secondary education and/or training
    • System Support - Support campus staff, parents, and community to promote the educational, career, personal, and social development of students, as well as the Developmental Guidance Program
