Hello! My name is Mrs. Puig, and I am excited to be joining Dulles Elementary this year as a 3rd grade math and science teacher.  Teaching is truly my passion, and I believe in creating a classroom where every student feels valued, challenged, supported, and inspired.  I strive to build a supportive and engaging environment that encourages curiosity, creativity, kindness, and inclusivity.

This will be my 8th year in education, and throughout my career I've loved to watch my students grow academically, as well as personally.  My goal every year is to not only teach content, but to also help students become more confident in their abilities.  

When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy being involved in animal rescue, baking, and spending time with my family.  Our house is a zoo, with five dogs (plus any foster puppies we may have), three parrots, ducks, a cat, and two lizards.  I am originally from Michigan, and we spend most summers camping and exploring the Great Lakes.
