Welcome to First Grade!

Hello! I am Mrs. Eccleston and this year I am going to be your Dual Language Teacher in reading, writing and Social Studies. I am very excited to be your first grade teacher. You will learn to read with fluency and be successful the rest of your academic life.

During my teaching career of more than 40 years, I have taught every grade from first through twelfth, but teaching first grade is my favorite. I love to see how you grow and become a responsible student. And you? Are you prepared for all the learning that is coming? I hope you are!
